Spring Forward with Fems!
On March 15, 2023, we held our first big event since before COVID. We raised some money to help us in our work, ate, drank, bought some merch and listened to inspiring speakers—including our amazing Governor, Secretary of State and Attorney General.

Final Oakland County GOTV rally in Pontiac
On Sunday, November 6, 2022, a fired up crowd packed The Crofoot in Pontiac to hear from Gov. Whitmer, SOS Benson, AG Nessel and other candidates as we enter the last days of the campaign. All that’s left to do now is make sure everyone we know votes. See below for the photo gallery.
GOTV rally with Kerry Washington in Ferndale
Actress Kerry Washington inspired a huge crowd packed into Soho in Ferndale on November 5, 2022. She was joined by Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and other elected officials, including Supreme Court candidate Kyra Harris Bolden and State Senator Mallory McMorrow. GOTV Rally at UAW Region 1 in Warren
On November 3, 2022, the top of the ticket and other candidates came together to rally Macomb County Democrats. We heard from Gov. Whitmer, AG Nessel, SOS Benson, LG Gilchrist, 10th Congressional District candidate Carl Marlinga, Supreme Court Justice Richard Bernstein and candidate Kyra Harris Bolden and more! Fems GOTV rally at Three Cats Cafe
On November 1, 2022, Fems for Dems and other supporters came together for an energetic rally at Three Cats Cafe in Clawson to help get out the vote. We heard from the top of the ticket—Gov. Whitmer, Lt. Gov. Gilchrist, SOS Jocelyn Benson and AG Dana Nessel—as well as a number of other elected officials and candidates. See below for the photo gallery from the event.
GOTV rally with President Obama
President Obama came to Detroit on October 29, 2022, for a GOTV rally, where he fired up a huge crowd at Renaissance High School. We also heard from other elected officials up and down the ballot, including Gov. Whitmer, LG Gilchrist, AG Nessel, SOS Benson, Mayor Duggan, Justice Richard Bernstein and Supreme Court candidate Kyra Bolden. See below for the photo gallery.
VP Kamala Harris comes to Detroit
On October 15, 2022, VP Harris came to Focus Hope in Detroit to fire up the base. A large group of Fems attended the event, which included a number of local dignitaries, including Wayne County Executive Warren Evans, Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence, AG Dana Nessel, Lt. Gov. President Biden at the newly imagined Detroit Auto Show
On September 14, 2022, several Fems were lucky enough to be invited to attend a press conference with President Biden, Gov. Whitmer and other dignitaries. President Biden and Gov. Whitmer made some very exciting announcements about things to come due to the passage of the bi-partisan infrastructure bill and the Inflation Reduction Act, including a national network of charging stations.
